WaterFire Providence announces the first episode of Building for the Future: The Story of the WaterFire Arts Center web series! With the generous support of TRAC Builders Inc., it premieres April 18th, 2016. We encourage you to tune in and experience this revolutionary time with us!
Building Our Future is a web series that will share the development of The WaterFire Arts Center every other Monday. We will be investigating the construction process and interviewing the architects, contractors and WaterFire staff and volunteers who are making the project possible.
Examples of episode content include selective deconstruction, the fabrication and installation of steel components from plant to job site, and the architectural design considerations for a one-of-a-kind organization like WaterFire Providence. But we will also hear from the WaterFire staff who will be working in the space and the community partners and volunteers who are excited to display, perform, and work in the WaterFire Arts Center.
