About Non-Musical Performances at WaterFire
Non-musical performances add an additional layer of creativity and discovery to the WaterFire experience. These performers may be activated throughout the WaterFire footprint – along the riverwalks, plazas, and pedestrian areas—creating moments of surprise and engagement for visitors as they explore the event.
Types of Performances
We welcome a wide range of performers including dance troupes, cultural performers, living statues, theatrical performers, fire performers, and other visual or interactive acts that help enhance the artistic atmosphere of WaterFire. In past seasons we have featured artists such as Ladies of the Rolling Pin and Ten 31 Productions.
Performances may take place at designated locations or as roaming activations throughout the event, allowing artists to interact directly with audiences and contribute to the vibrant energy that makes each WaterFire lighting unique.
