WaterFire Providence announces A Light In Every Town, a campaign to connect communities across Rhode Island through the power of volunteerism. Presently, WaterFire boasts volunteers hailing from 35 out of Rhode Island’s 39 towns, as well as dedicated individuals from neighboring states, including Maine, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. WaterFire is currently seeking volunteers from four of the remaining cities and towns to achieve full representation. WaterFire Providence announces a partnership between Innovation Studio Inc. and WaterFire Providence as an addition to WaterFire’s year-long professional development program for artists 18-30, Accelerate. Accelerate cohort members will be able to utilize several of Innovation Studio’s programs during their 12 months with WaterFire, including one-on-one business consultations through their Entrepreneurship Navigation program and early acceptance into their startup programs Inspire, Create, and Share.

Grechel Rosado joins WaterFire Providence as Program Coordinator
WaterFire Providence announces that Grechel Rosado has joined the organization as its first Program Coordinator. Grechel’s primary responsibilities include managing ArtLab@WaterFire, a year-long paid internship and leadership development program for BIPOC male high school students and WaterFire Accelerate, a year-long professional development program for artists under 30.
