Partial Lighting Fire WaterFire installations are a smaller version of the event; lighting up the river from the Waterplace Basin to Steeple Street. A total of 57 braziers will be lit including the twelve braziers leading up to the Providence Place mall, the circle of twenty-two braziers in the Waterplace Park Basin, and the 20 braziers between the Waterplace Bridge and the Steeple Street Bridge.
Join us in the Waterplace Park Basin for an intimate lighting of WaterFire Providence. The fires will be lit shortly after sunset (7:14pm) and will remain lit until 11:00pm. The WaterFire Lighting Ceremony will take place at sunset along with a 100 torch Ring of Fire surrounding the basin.
