After several postponements, everything looked promising for an in-person event on September 11 until the recent rise in transmission rates of the highly contagious Delta variant of COVID-19 and the modeling that suggests the peak is likely in mid to late September.

With the health and well-being of our community our highest priority, and after thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to go virtual.

What does this mean?

Ticket sales continue – our fabulous cocktail hour and dinner will now be “dinner and drinks to go”, so get your tickets today! Or register for FREE (no meal included). All guests will receive instructions and a link to view the event and participate from home.

This shortened event will still feature all the elements you’d expect from a Miriam Hospital gala:

• pre-event and live bidding on our fabulous auction items,
• hear from a patient, his family, and his team of physicians about the impact of clinical trials and our plans to create The Center for Innovative Cancer Research right here at The Miriam Hospital,
• raise your virtual paddle to bid during our live “Fund-a-Need” blitz to ensure we can raise the dollars needed to make this center a reality,
• AND, LIVE ENTERTAINMENT that will bring the roaring 20s to you…through your screen!
