Wednesday, April 19 - WaterFire Day

Join WaterFire Providence in celebrating the first-ever WaterFire Day in Rhode Island! On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, WaterFire will celebrate this momentous occasion by striking the match, lighting the braziers in Memorial Park, and unveiling the 2023 WaterFire Season Schedule. WaterFire fans are encouraged to spark up their appetites by dining out in Providence’s participating bars and restaurants! Our participating restaurant supporters including Bayberry Garden, Blu Violet, Hot Club, Moonshine Alley, Troop PVD, Sport & Leisure, Black Sheep Providence, Bellini Providence, The River Social, and Hemenway’s will donate 10% of their daily proceeds to WaterFire Providence in celebration of another season of Keeping the Fires Burning. 

Dining out on WaterFire Day can make you eligible to win a special WaterFire experience!

Enjoy drinks and/or a meal at any of the participating WaterFire Day restaurants on April 19th, and all you have to do is post a photo of your check to your Instagram story, be sure to tag @WaterFireProv and include #SparkYourAppetite to be entered into a drawing to win.** The person with the highest submitted check will win a WaterFire VIP Experience Package (valued at over $1000) which includes access (for 2 people) to WaterFire’s exclusive Brazier Society Reception where guests can get a boat ride through the installation. A second winner chosen at random from all entries will win a grab bag of WaterFire gear valued at over $100. Diners can also submit their receipts via email to [email protected] for prize eligibility.
