Call for Local Businesses to Join as WaterFire Day Community Partners

Join WaterFire Providence in celebrating the second annual WaterFire Day! On April 18, 2024, we will unveil the 2024 season schedule and light the braziers in Memorial Park, marking the first WaterFire lighting of the season. The schedule will be announced in a joint press conference with the Governor and the Mayor in Memorial Park at 7:15 and the fires will be lit shortly after.

Call for Community Partners

We are hoping to grow on the success of 2023 with more publicity, more participation, and most importantly, more support for both your business and WaterFire Providence. Participating businesses will contribute a value of $500 to WaterFire Providence: 10% of their sales on WaterFire Day (April 18, 2024) and gift cards or in-kind donations to reach at least $500.

In exchange, your business will be listed year-round in the “Plan Your Visit to Providence” section on our website. This guide is our visitor’s number one resource to plan their WaterFire experience and is used by over 55,000 people (150,000 page views) each month as their starting point for discovering all that Providence has to offer. Businesses within a limited distance of the WaterFire event footprint may also have their businesses included on printed event maps that we distribute to thousands of visitors on WaterFire nights. This is the best way for visitors to discover your business throughout the season.

Leading up to WaterFire Day, all Community Partners will be featured prominently on WaterFire’s social media, which reaches: over 110,000 Facebook followers, 30,000 Twitter followers, and 26,000 Instagram followers.

As an additional, exclusive benefit, businesses who contribute at least $1000 through cash donations and/or gift cards will also receive a solo feature in WaterFire’s blog and email newsletter, which has over 22,000 subscribers.
