Gallery Night at the WaterFire Arts Center

On the third Thursday of the month (March – November), Gallery Night Providence (GNP) curates multiple timed trolley and mini coach tours organized with partner galleries. All are welcome to explore the galleries on their own too, GNP Galleries, or see what GNP has put together for monthly suggestions to ‘Make Your Own Tour‘.

This month, Thursday, June 15, two of Gallery Night Providence’s trolley tours will leave the WFAC, one at 5:00 p.m. and one at 6:30 p.m. The 6:30 pm tour will be a bilingual art tour in English and Spanish visiting family-friendly art spaces. This tour is made possible by a grant from the Rhode Island Foundation. Free parking is available in the WaterFire Arts Center parking lot and attached ALCO parking lots.

The 5:00 pm art tour will visit three art spaces, The Gallery at Sprout CoWorking presenting the annual members show for South Coast Artists and 50 Sims with The Steel Yard presenting “A Legacy of Collecting,” an exhibition and first-ever sale from the private collection of Dr. Joseph A. Chazan, before returning to the WaterFire Arts Center gallery to experience “If These Walls Could Talk” in the gallery, a group exhibition by the 2022-2023 WaterFire Accelerate Artist Cohort: Denzel Amoah, Justin DeGraide, Savaree “Sav” Hazard-Chaney, Hannah Nahas, Rhue Nobre, and Elijah Trice. Reserve a spot for this 5:00 pm tour leaving from the WFAC.
