For the community, by the community.
WaterFire encourages families with children of all ages to join us for a fun-filled, hands-on experience!
Big Hearts Can Be Found In All Ages
We have volunteer opportunities on our event days as well as during the week at our Woodpile Workouts and Prep Parties. During event days there are three main volunteer shifts available:
- Mornings from 8:00am – 12:00pm
- Afternoons from 2:00pm – 5:00pm
- During the event from 6:00pm – 11:00pm (dependent upon assignment)
Woodpile Workouts are a fun outdoor activity for all ages.
Prep Parties are a great way to get hands-on experience helping our production staff to ready materials like our illuminated stars and candle lanterns prior to our events.
Contact our Volunteer Team (401)-443-5531 for more information.
Please note that children under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in activities on our boats or involving live flames.
“I found volunteering with my son at WaterFire Providence has taught him how volunteering can be a great example of giving, not to mention all of the social exposure to the public and to the community.”
Donna and her son Ellis have been volunteering at WaterFire Providence for many years.
