Thanks to everyone who submitted their films to our 15 Seconds of Flame Film Fest. We had a lot of fun submissions from our August 24th Lighting. We decided to pick a couple of films this week. Nominated in the Best Live Performance category was @thegonkulator’s film of the Big Nazo Creature Band performing at the WaterFire Steeple Street Music Stage. His comment hit the nail on the head “This band knows how to put on a show. The costumes continued to ‘evolve’ as the show went on.”
The second film we picked, by @dawnfox2, is nominated under the Best Storyline category, we don’t really know why a clown is chasing a small child around these Morris Dancer’s but we think it’s a great piece.
And this week’s audience choice nomination with 13 likes was @kay_o_d’s film “My First #waterfire this year with my main lady.” Looks like they we having really good time. Congratulations to all of this week’s nominees; they will also be receiving a free 15 Seconds of Flame official selection t-shirt and will be eligible for awards at our big film fest party planned for November.
