TroopTop Thursday, August 31 at the WaterFire Arts Center

The community is invited to TroopTop Thursdays at the WaterFire Arts Center every Thursday this summer, through August 31. WaterFire Providence and Valley neighborhood restaurant, Troop PVD, have collaborated to create a roof top bar with live musical performances and arts experiences as well as a fundraiser for the featured non-profit organization of the night. TroopTop is supported by Cross Insurance and US Rubber Lofts, proudly managed by Brady Sullivan Properties. Programming for each evening is presented by Little Guy At The Gig. 

Thursday, August 31

TroopTop on Thursday, August 31 is from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with live musical performances by Space Heater X and The New Brew. There will be live art making by Rat Island Press Collaboration and games by Archery Games Providence.This week in the gallery we are hosting the exhibition for FADED, The History and Works of Tannis Root.

TroopPVD will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of their specialty cocktail to PVD World Music. PVD World Music Institute is a volunteer-run community arts 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization based in Providence that aims to promote, celebrate and enrich the musical traditions and arts of African refugees and immigrants in Rhode Island for present and future generations. 

Snacks provided by UNFI Cafe PVD and Gather Farm Ice Cream.
