Event Details
The community is invited to TroopTop Thursdays at the WaterFire Arts Center every Thursday this summer, through August 31. WaterFire Providence and Valley neighborhood restaurant, Troop PVD, have collaborated to create a roof top bar with live musical performances and arts experiences as well as a fundraiser for the featured non-profit organization of the night. TroopTop is supported by Cross Insurance and US Rubber Lofts, proudly managed by Brady Sullivan Properties. Programming for each evening is presented by Little Guy At The Gig.
Thursday, August 24
TroopTop on Thursday, August 24 is from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with live musical performances by Moonside and Older Brother. Plus check out some live screen printing by Vava Designs. This week in the gallery is the opening night of “Don’t Worry, You’ll Get Used to the Smell” The History and Works of Tannis Root produced by FADED and Tannis Root Productions.
TroopPVD will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of their specialty cocktail to Youth Pride RI. Youth Pride, Inc. is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of youth and young adults impacted by sexual orientation and gender identity/expression while working to end the homophobic and transphobic environments in which they live, work, and play.
Snacks provided by UNFI Cafe PVD.
