Join us on Wednesday, July 31st, at 6:00 p.m. for an engaging conversation between Dr. Joseph A. Chazan, renowned art collector, and R. Tripp Evans, historian of American art and design. This event will take place amidst the artwork of the exhibition, NetWorks Rhode Island and the Chazan Collection: A Half-Century of RI Patronage.

Dr. Joseph A. Chazan

Dr. Chazan is a physician, a scientist, and a prominent arts philanthropist within Rhode Island and Providence communities. His wealth of knowledge and experience has been instrumental in shaping the development of the WaterFire Arts Center (WFAC) and its programs. Dr. Chazan has been deeply involved with WaterFire, The Steel Yard, the Rhode Island Philharmonic, AS220, Farm Fresh, and the Providence Public Library, among others. 

R. Tripp Evans, a historian of American art and design. He is a frequent public lecturer, professor of the history of art at Wheaton College, and serves as a collections consultant to historic house museums.
