Gather for an evening of “Sitting with Each Other: An Introduction to Social Meditation” on Thursday, March 30 within the WaterFire Arts Center gallery exhibition Interconnected produced through a creative partnership between Gather Farm and WaterFire Providence.

Human beings are social beings. Social meditation takes advantage of our natural inclination to connect while offering a simple awareness practice that is accessible to anyone yet still generates the benefits associated with traditional meditation (such as clarity, presence, insight & calm). Rather than wrestling with the mind in isolation, we use the power of interconnection to support us in waking up to life.

Led by mindfulness meditation teacher, Rebecca Foster of Gather Farm, the gathering will start at 6:00 p.m. and run for approximately an hour and a half.

Space is limited, please register in advance.
