Visitors are invited to April’s Gallery Night on Thursday, April 20.
On the third Thursday of the month (March – November), Gallery Night Providence (GNP) curates multiple timed trolley and mini coach tours organized with partner galleries. All are welcome to explore the galleries on their own too, GNP Galleries, or see what GNP has put together for monthly suggestions to ‘Make Your Own Tour‘.
This month, Thursday, April 20, one of Gallery Night Providence’s trolley tours will leave the WFAC at 6:30 p.m. and visit the AS220 Main Gallery, URI Providence Campus Gallery, and QzillaBlue Gallery before returning to the WaterFire Arts Center. Free parking is available in the WaterFire Arts Center parking lot and attached ALCO parking lots. Reserve a spot for this 6:30 p.m. tour leaving from the WFAC.
On view this month in the WFAC gallery is Interconnected, a month-long exhibition in celebration of Earth Month through a creative partnership between Gather Farm, Gather Glass, and WaterFire Providence. This exhibit reflects, honors and celebrates our interconnection with nature as a source of awe, inspiration, creativity and wisdom. Animals, trees, plants, and fungi learned to coexist – to thrive, repair, and evolve – long before humans made their mark, and we now look to nature as a guide and teacher. The gallery is open until 9:00 p.m. every Thursday night.

The WaterFire Arts Center store + gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
