Join us for a Holiday Celebration at WaterFire! A partial lighting happening in Memorial Park on Saturday, December 7 a part of Providence’s Three Nights of Lights event series presented by the City of Providence, and the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitor’s Bureau in partnership with The AvenueConcept, FirstWorks, and WaterFire Providence. The fires in the RISD and Memorial Park area will be lit at 5:30 p.m. and will burn until 9:00 p.m.

“Three Nights of Lights bring families and friends together to celebrate the holiday season in the Creative Capital. WaterFire is such an essential part of both our artistic community and Rhode Island tradition. We’re excited to have them partner with us to set Providence aglow,” says Kristen Adamo, President and CEO of the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The event will feature a Holiday Winter Market in Market Square featuring 15 local artists and makers. Santa’s Village will also be in Market Square, and the big man in red will arrive by boat. College Street will be aglow with food vendors, an acoustic music stage, and trees courtesy of Stanley Tree Service which will be donated to local families after the event. Stanley Tree is also donating a 15ft tree for the Holiday Market in Market Square. The donated trees will be adorned with ornaments and decorations made by local schools including Veteran’s Memorial Elementary School in Central Falls and East Providence High School. Level 99 will also be on-site sharing information about activities families can do during the holiday season.
