Ann Scott

Ann Scott is currently an Executive Job Search Coach and an Expert Witness in Employment.  She has 25 years of experience as an Executive Search Consultant (headhunter) doing work for Fortune 100 Consumer Products Companies, technology companies, start-ups, and financial institutions. Ann worked with nationwide recruiting firms in the Midwest, Southwest, and Northeast before establishing her own firm in 1989. As the President of a Woman-Owned firm, she was chosen as a preferred retained search supplier for both AT&T and JP Morgan/Chase.

Ann and her husband moved to Rhode Island in 2006. In February 2013, Ann joined the WaterFire Board of Directors as co-chair of the Development Committee. One of the wonderful things about WaterFire, according to Ann, is the great intersection of economic development and artistic endeavor. “Seeing the economic benefits that WaterFire has on Providence,” Ann said, “makes it easier to ask people to donate.”

In addition to serving on WaterFire’s Board of Directors, Ann is also a member of The Boston Club, on the Steering Committee of 100 Women Who Care, and a mentor for both YearUP Providence and the International House. Ann recently completed four years as co-chair of the Stewardship Committee for Central Congregational Church.

In the past, Ann has served on the Board of Directors for the International Association for Corporate and Professional Recruitment as well as numerous non-profit boards in both Chatham, NJ and Rochester, NY.

Ann is a graduate of Northwestern University where she received both a BA and an MA in Mathematics. She also graduated from Leadership Programs in New Jersey and Rochester, N.Y.

In her spare time, Ann loves traveling, reading, swimming, yoga, biking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
