– Steve Jobs

WaterFire Providence would like to thank all of the volunteers, community organizations, college groups, donors, and our interns for their support and dedication during our 2013 season.

2013 was a year filled with beauty and excitement, creativity and grace. Together we overcame obstacles and set in motion sights that inspired. It was a year full of new and innovative ideas, vast improvements, hard work, and fun.

2013 Volunteers - Photo Collage

More than 1,400 volunteers from in and around our community volunteered over 13,000 hours of service at WaterFire Providence in 2013. Without these volunteers WaterFire Providence would have never been be able to successfully execute all of the special events and magical moments that we produced during the 2013 event season. The inspiration and the sense of community these volunteers bring to the city of Providence is completely and utterly astonishing. We cannot thank each and every one of them enough for all of the time and energy they put into making every WaterFire lighting not only possible, but also a great success.
