TroopTop Thursday, June 27 at the WaterFire Arts Center

The community is invited to TroopTop Thursdays at the WaterFire Arts Center every Thursday this summer, through August 29 (except for July 4 and July 25). WaterFire Providence and Valley neighborhood restaurant, Troop PVD, have collaborated to create a rooftop bar with live musical performances and arts experiences as well as a fundraiser for the featured non-profit organization of the night. TroopTop is supported by Cross Insurance, US Rubber Lofts, proudly managed by Brady Sullivan Properties, and Boston Documents Systems. Programming for each evening is presented by Little Guy At The Gig.

Thursday, June 27

TroopTop on Thursday, June 27 is from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with music by DJ Nick Bishop. It is the final week of the exhibition, When I Get Home by the 2023-24 WaterFire Accelerate Cohort, closing Sunday, June 30. Applications for the 2024-25 WaterFire Accelerate Cohort are due on Sunday, June 30. Apply here today.

TroopPVD will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of their specialty cocktail to RI Latino Arts. Rhode Island Latino Arts, formed in 1988, is Rhode Island’s premier nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion, improvement, development, and production of Latino arts. They maintain their mission statement by cooperating with local community associations, such as libraries, museums, and senior centers in the most underprivileged sections of our cities. They ensure their mission statement: To raise awareness and preserve Latino arts, heritage, and cultures in Rhode Island and to build community pride.
