TroopTop Thursday, July 20 at the WaterFire Arts Center

The community is invited to TroopTop Thursdays at the WaterFire Arts Center every Thursday this summer, through August 31. WaterFire Providence and Valley neighborhood restaurant, Troop PVD, have collaborated to create a roof top bar with live musical performances and arts experiences as well as a fundraiser for the featured non-profit organization of the night. TroopTop is supported by Cross Insurance and US Rubber Lofts, proudly managed by Brady Sullivan Properties. Programming for each evening is presented by Little Guy At The Gig. 

Thursday, July 20

TroopTop on Thursday, July 20 is from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with live musical performances by Olivia Dolphin and Avi Jacob. Inside the gallery you can view the Providence Biennial exhibit. This week’s TroopTop will coincide with Gallery Night Providence and Providence Fringe Festival. Inside the gallery and Main Hall is the is the Providence Biennial exhibitions, POIESIS and REMEDY, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Outside, our new neighbors, Archery Games Providence will be popping up so visitors can test out their archery skills!

TroopPVD will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of their specialty cocktail to The Wilbury Theatre Group and Providence Fringe Festival. Wilbury Theatre Group is an award-winning, not-for-profit professional theatre company, they engage our community in thought-provoking conversation through new works, reimagined classics and adventurous playmaking. They are idealistic, ambitious, and stubborn in our resolve to create theatre that entertains, enlightens, and inspires. In 2014 The Wilbury Theatre Group founded the Providence Fringe Festival, now going into its 10th year,  FRINGEPVD features more than 300 performing artists from across the country sharing their work in theatre, dance, visual arts, and everything in between.
