Event Details
Come & learn about herbalism in this one hour workshop led by Medicinal Herb Expert Maggie Hatzpanian of Gather Farm. We will discuss several common New England medicinal plants that can be found at Gather Farm and in your own back yard.
We will discuss growth habits, natural habitats and when to harvest. We will learn the basic concepts of processing our medicinal herbs into such items as tea, tinctures, topical creams and Salves.
We will have plants to see, touch and smell and each participant will make their own herbal creation to take home.
The workshop is free and space is limited, please register in advance.
Two sessions are available, the first starting at 2:00 p.m. and the second at 3:30 p.m.
