Welcome to the WaterFire Theater Under the Stars schedule page. This page will be updated on an on-going basis with new information as it becomes available. The WaterFire Theater Under the Stars is presented in collaboration with The Wilbury Theatre Group premiering experimental theatre, original works, films, concerts, dance, and visual presentations including family and holiday films.

The health and safety of visitors is top priority. This unique outdoor theater offers visitors a safe ‘drive-in’ experience where original and national arts events may be viewed from the warmth and safety of patron’s cars, tuning into 102.9 FM to hear the audio. Images will be projected onto a 40’ wide screen with state of the art projection capacity.

Tickets for each event must be purchased in advance online here in accordance with COVID-19 health requirements. Prices will vary. Please donate additionally what you can, as all proceeds will support WaterFire Providence, The Wilbury Theatre Group, and performing artists who have been hit particularly hard by the coronavirus pandemic.  

Due to new COVID-19 restrictions you must:

  • Buy your tickets in advance. No tickets will be available on site. 
  • Participate in a COVID-19 screening which includes confirmation that your vehicle will only contain those who live in your household. Stay in your car for the event.
  • Bring your own food to the event, and eat in your car. Our food vending is on hold.
  • There will be no bathroom facilities available at the WaterFire Theater Under the Stars
