Beginning in 1994, WaterFire has ignited a renaissance for our city which, through the years, has sparked millions of visitor’s imaginations. We invite you to celebrate WaterFire’s mission to build a community through art by joining The Brazier Society!

As Brazier Society members, you gain access to benefits and special opportunities including access to the exclusive Brazier Society reception tent during the season, member-only events at the WaterFire Arts Center, WaterFire discounts, and more. An evening at WaterFire as a Brazier Society member includes a reception catered by Fire Works Catering, special performances, and the rare and unforgettable chance to experience WaterFire from the water onboard one of our custom-built guest boats that will pilot you among the fires.
Brazier Society members are among our most generous supporters and are at the heart of all we do. Our members are especially crucial to WaterFire and all of our programming. Your generous contributions make all the difference.
Individual Brazier Society Levels & Benefits
Athena Society: Gifts of $1,500 (or $125/month)
- 20 total tickets to the Brazier Society reception & boat rides, to be used throughout the next 12 months
- Invitations to Member Only events at the WaterFire Arts Center
- 10% discount on WaterFire merchandise at the WaterFire Arts Center or at WaterFire events
- Your name on waterfire.org recognizing your Athena Society membership
Muse Society: For members under 35. Gifts of $1,500 (or $125/month)
Includes all Athena Society benefits, plus:
- 32 total tickets to the Brazier Society reception & boat rides, to be used throughout the next 12 months
- Two free glassblowing workshops at Gather Glass
- Two free tickets to a show by the Wilbury Theatre Group
- 50% discount on parking in any MetroPark lot during all full lightings
- 15% discount on bookings of WaterFire’s Celebrate experiences
- 15% discount on venue rental fees for the WaterFire Arts Center
- Opportunity to participate as a Basin Torchbearer (for up to 4 people, advance reservations needed)
Hestia Society: Gifts of $2,500
Includes all Muse Society benefits, plus:
- 32 total tickets to the Brazier Society reception & boat rides, to be used throughout the next 12 months
- 50% off tickets to WaterFire Providence’s annual FireBall Gala in October
Icarus Society: Gifts of $5,000
Includes all Hestia Society benefits, plus:
- 48 total tickets to the Brazier Society reception & boat rides, to be used throughout the next 12 months
- Brazier Society commemorative pin
Apollo Society: Gifts of $10,000
Includes all Icarus Society benefits, plus:
- 64 total tickets to the Brazier Society reception & boat rides, to be used throughout the next 12 months
- Invitation for a private dinner with WaterFire Founder and Artistic Director, Barnaby Evans, for up to 4 people
WaterFire Providence is an independent 501(c)3 arts organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. At the date of gift, no goods or services have been provided in exchange for this contribution. Please note that per IRS regulations, every time a ticket is used the value of the benefit, which we estimate at $50 per ticket in 2024, should be deducted from the total tax-deductible amount of your contribution. We suggest that you consult with your accountant or tax professional on the final tax deductibility of your Brazier Society membership.
