FireBall: Turning the Tide

In 2026, WaterFire turns the tide and enters a bold new era. After years of growth, transformation, and renewed momentum, we are stepping forward with a deeper sense of purpose, creativity, and community impact. This year’s FireBall is more than a night of art, light, and celebration; it’s a reflection of movement, progress, and the power of coming together to shape what comes next. This year’s theme, Turning the Tide, celebrates renewal, evolution, and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for WaterFire Providence.

What to Wear: Creative Black Tie Optional, Inspired by the Tide. We encourage guests to embrace flowing silhouettes, ocean-inspired hues, shimmering details, and bold, creative touches that capture the spirit of Turning the Tide.

Schedule of Events

FireBall VIP Reception: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

• Red carpet welcome
• Private gathering to celebrate these exceptional honorees before the awards ceremony
• Includes a champagne toast, program, and access to the entire event
• Tickets for the VIP Reception are $325 each

10th Annual FireBall Gala: 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

• Red carpet welcome at 7:00 p.m. 
• Seated dinner at 7:30 p.m. by Russell Morin Catering & Events
• Awards ceremony and live performances throughout the evening
• Fund-A-Mission to support WaterFire Providence
• DJ, dancing, and dessert to close the night
• Tickets for General Admission are $175 each
