FREE Walking tours of public art and green spaces in the Valley Arts District! (August 28 and September 25, 2022)

Stop inside for the exhibit, Portales: Reimagining the Future, in the WFAC gallery which opens at 10 am, then head out on one of these family friendly walking tour of public art in the Valley Arts District with Gallery Night Providence, the walking tours leave from WFAC at 11 am and 1 pm, and last approximately 90 minutes.

Experienced Gallery Night guides will lead walking tours focused on public art, murals, and green spaces in the area (known as the Valley Arts District) with some possible pop-ins to indoor art spaces.

  • Guided walking tours will leave at 11 am and 1 pm and last about 90 minutes.
  • Meet at the WaterFire Arts Center at 475 Valley Street 5 to 10 minutes before your tour time.

Some notes to help you out the day of the event!

  • Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather!
  • These tours focus on public art and architecture and will take place primarily outdoors, but there may also be some brief stops at indoor spaces where mask policies vary. Please bring a mask in case, and comply with mask policies at any spaces the tour visits.
