Enjoy Art and Providence Hospitality!

OK, we’re biased on this but we think Providence is America’s best city to experience art.

Before you take in an evening of WaterFire, you can always discover interesting art in the Creative Capital at great places like the RISD Museum of Art, Brown’s Bell Gallery, AS220, The Steel Yard, Providence Art Club, Yellow Peril Gallery and many, many more.

But let’s face it, experiencing all that great art can be exhausting!

No worries. Providence has some of the best restaurants to dine at and hotels to rest your art weary head anywhere and we (you and us) are lucky that many support WaterFire Providence!

And there’s even more good news!

From July 8 through 21, 2012, the Providence Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau, a WaterFire sponsor, has organized Providence Restaurant Weeks. So if you are a visitor or a local, this is your opportunity to experience some great food.

We hope that you will check out and support the following restaurants which generously support WaterFire Providence:

AQUA, Bluefin GrilleThe Capital Grille,   E&O Tap, Hemenway’s Restaurant, Lola’s Tequila Bar & Cantina, Marra Restaurant Group, Mill’s Tavern, Parkside Rotisserie & BarRed Stripe, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Taste of India, Temple Downtown, Waterplace Restaurant, and Whiskey Republic.

Of course you’re going to need a place to rest after a full day of art (including WaterFire!) and a fun evening at one of Providence’s many great restaurants. Luckily our city has a lot to choose from and we know that you can find the perfect place to stay from these hotels that also generously support WaterFire:

Our July 7th, 2012 WaterFire is being sponsored in part by the above members of Providence’s hospitality industry, so your support of the organizations that sponsor WaterFire is critically important in keeping the fires burning! Thank you!

Thanks also to Citizens Bank, a longtime WaterFire Providence sponsor.

Citizens Bank is pleased to sponsor this extraordinary event.  WaterFire continues to serve as an economic driver for Providence, bringing thousands of people to our beautiful city. – Ned Handy, President, Citizens Bank, Rhode Island and Connecticut

And thanks also to Brown University Continuing Education for their sponsorship of the July 7, 2012 WaterFire.
