  1. I see here it shows a water fire show for this weekend. But the Mariott just told me there definitely isn’t one this weekend. Can you please clarify? Thank you

  2. I remember seeing something about Disney music being part of the show. I can’t seem to find it to see which weekends it was. Did I miss it or are they coming up?

  3. Where to park conveniently? I have a kid of 3 yrs old. Till what time the show will continue? What is the main location to stand/sit to watch most of the funs?

    1. Hello, you can find info about parking here. The lighting runs through midnight. The event is designed for walking around, there is fun around every corner.

    1. Hi Stephanie, sorry we missed your question. I hope you had a good night out. Most of our on-shore open at 6:00 and we recommend people come early to get situated and experience as much of the city as possible. The Plan Your Trip to Providence Guide mentioned on this page is a helpful resource for first-time visitors.

  4. Hi Tim, I am planning to get to Providence for the event. Could you please suggest where to park? The previously posted link “planning your visit” does not discuss parking or somehow I missed it
    Thank you very much!

  5. Tim, Thanks for your input. We will be 1st timers for waterfire tonight and very excited. Staying at a close hotel can you recommend a casual dining spot for 4 and the best time? I’m sure the crowds will suggest the earlier the better. I would value your input having experienced this event before. Also, going for early morning run, any suggestions? (run / bike path around?)
    Many Thanks,
    Rick Murray

    1. Hi Rick, sorry we missed your question. I hope you enjoyed your stay. In case you missed it India Point Park is close by downtown and has walking/running paths that also connect to the longer rail/trail in East Providence.

  6. Do you happen to have a list of the arts and crafts vendors that were there on August 25th? I’m very interested in one of them, but I can’t seem to find their business card. If you do I would highly appreciate it if you could either reply to this comment directly or email it to me :). Thank you!

    1. These are some of the vendors, sorry I don’t have a complete listing – The Attic Project Jewelry, Jessie Jewels, Anne Made Designs, Debs Designs, Relic, Bonnie Lee’s Creations. I hope this helps.
