My role at WaterFire Providence as part of the Media Department includes marketing, graphic design, visual resources management, merchandising and much more! I develop our graphic materials from digital event programs and mailings to banners and product packaging. I also manage our Official WaterFire Providence Merchandise from the design and ordering of products to customer service and store operations at events and our online store.
The beginning of my WaterFire journey was in 2009 when I started as an Arts & Research intern and the rest is history! I joined WaterFire Providence as a full time staff member in 2010.
WaterFire’s ability to foster community through the arts by creatively transforming the city is of great value to Providence, Rhode Island and New England. I feel inspired everyday by the community that I work with from our staff and volunteers to donors and board members. I love connecting with our visitors at each event, answering their questions and listening to their unique stories and expressions of WaterFire.
Being a Rhode Island resident for the majority of my life, I am proud to be a part of a fantastic art event that brings hundreds of thousands of people to our state. I graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Arts with a focus in etching and digital design and a Certificate of Business Studies. I have supplemented my studies with Continuing Education classes at Rhode Island School of Design.
I love traveling, meeting new people, discovering art in new places and dogs! I also have a great love of food especially local restaurants.
