Lee Valentini

Lee Valentini has nearly 30 years experience in the insurance industry, having worked in New York, New Jersey, and the past 19 years in Rhode Island. 

In his current role, Lee has oversight responsibility for Amica Mutual’s three contact centers (Lincoln RI, Spokane WA, and Indianapolis IN with staff totaling 350+).  In addition, in 2008 Lee brought Amica’s Voice Operations team under the Service Center umbrella in order to manage the corporate vision of call routing throughout Amica’s 40+ countrywide locations.

In his spare time, Lee serves as President and CEO of Atelier Newport, an art gallery in Newport, RI that features established and emerging artists, many from the local community.

Lee attended Wake Forest University, earning degrees in English and Political Science.  He has been awarded the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation along with Continuing Professional Development, Associate in Management, Associate in Claims, and Certificate in General Insurance professional designations.

Lee received Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma certificates through Villanova University, is enrolled in the Master Certificate in Six Sigma program and received Certification in Strategic Workforce Management through Human Capital Institute (Harvard).

In 2013 The Rotary Club of Cumberland Lincoln honored Lee as a Paul Harris Fellow for his volunteer contributions to the community.  Lee has served as a RI Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA).  He is a prior Board member of ProjectLEARN, an adult and child literacy program.

Lee attended Tuck School of Management (Dartmouth) receiving certification in its Leadership & Strategic Impact Program in 2015 and in its Business Engagement and the Information Security Professional Program in 2016.  He is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy and member of the FBICA Alumni Association.

A long-time resident of Lincoln, RI, Lee recently moved to Providence, RI to experience all the Renaissance city has to offer.  He is the father of two beautiful and accomplished daughters, and lives with Caroline, though he often wonders how he got that lucky.
