Elizabeth Murdock Myers is a Partner at Verrill Dana, LLP. Her practice focuses on all aspects of corporate, antitrust and health care law, with extensive transactional experience in mergers; acquisitions; reorganizations; contract negotiations, including domestic and international licensing agreements; franchise agreements, representing both franchisors and franchisees; business tax planning; commercial lending and equipment leasing. She has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate and health care antitrust counseling and investigations. She represents for-profit and not-for-profit corporations, hospitals, clinics and physician groups before the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general.
In the course of her career, Elizabeth has been recognized as a Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Top Woman of Law, distinguished with an AV Preeminent ranking from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been ranked by Chambers & Partners, Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers New England. In addition to her service to WaterFire Providence, Elizabeth also serves as the Governing Board Chair on the Board of Plan International USA and is a Fellow of the Rhode Island Foundation. Elizabeth earned her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Kenyon College.
