Visitors are invited to the first Gallery Night of the 2023 season on Thursday, March 16.
On the third Thursday of the month (March – November), Gallery Night Providence (GNP) curates multiple timed trolley and mini coach tours organized with partner galleries. All are welcome to explore the galleries on their own too, GNP Galleries, or see what GNP has put together for monthly suggestions to ‘Make Your Own Tour‘.
This month, Thursday, March 16, one of Gallery Night Providence’s mini coach tours will leave the WFAC at 6:30 p.m. and visit the Bannister Gallery at RIC, Sprout Co-Working, and QzillaBlue Gallery before returning to the WaterFire Arts Center. Free parking is available in the WaterFire Arts Center parking lot and attached ALCO parking lots. Reserve a spot for this 6:30 p.m. tour leaving from the WFAC.
On view this month in the WFAC gallery is Vigilance, a solo exhibition by Scott Lapham. Vigilance is a month-long solo exhibition by Scott Lapham. The exhibition features work from three of the artist’s most recent bodies of work including “Vigilance“, “A is for Anthropecene“, and “Perfectly Preserved Sea Shore“. The gallery is open until 9:00 p.m. every Thursday night.

The WaterFire Arts Center store + gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
