WaterFire’s ArtMarts are part of a series of diverse arts experiences at the WaterFire Arts Center in the Valley neighborhood of Providence.
ArtMart is an outdoor art market featuring local artists across a broad spectrum of fine art and craft mediums. WaterFire aims to support and connect artists with new audiences by providing a safe open-air venue to sell their work.
ArtMart Information and Artist Application
Please read all of the information below before submitting your application.
In order to be considered as an ArtMart artist, you must complete the 2021 ArtMart Application. ArtMarts are curated by WaterFire Providence. Please note that space is limited and not all applicants will be selected.
When artist spots are filled additional applicants will be placed on a waitlist. WaterFire will reach out to waitlist artists if space becomes available. Please only submit one application.
Each artist will receive an 8′ x 10′ space. For the Outdoor Summer ArtMarts, we are allowing artists to pull up their vehicles next to their booth before/after the event for an easier load-in and load-out. Artists are responsible for supplying their own tables, chairs, and displays.
OUTDOOR SUMMER ARTMARTS
Dates & Times:
Five (5) Saturdays from June to August: June 12, June 26, July 17, July 31, August 21, and August 28 (new!)
From 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Two (2) rain dates on Saturday, July 10, and August 28

Application Deadline:
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. We strongly advise that you submit your application as soon as possible.
Fees:
- 1 ArtMart – $50
- 2 ArtMart – $100
- 3 ArtMart – $140 ($10 off total fee)
- 4 ArtMart – $185 ($15 off total fee)
- 5 ArtMart – $230 ($20 off total fee)
INDOOR HOLIDAY ARTMART

Earlybird Registration (available to accepted Summer ArtMart artists):

Payment
Artist Fees are non-refundable. Accepted artists will receive a payment link upon acceptance.
Cancellation Policies
All artist cancellations need to be made on or before the Monday prior to each event day, so we may fill those positions with artists on the waitlist.
If WaterFire needs to cancel an event for any reason, we will move the event to the closest rain date, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis for artists with schedule conflicts.
Artists that don’t show, without any communication, may not be eligible for future shows with us.
