A video series supported by TRAC Builders, Inc. exploring the history, construction, and future of WaterFire Providence’s new headquarters shines light on the Valley neighborhood’s latest cultural institution
WaterFire Providence is proud to announce a new video series detailing the history, construction, and future of WaterFire Providence’s new headquarters, The WaterFire Arts Center.
WaterFire Providence is taking a big step as an organization and moving from its temporary offices into a permanent home. The WaterFire Arts Center, a renovated historic industrial building, will create a solid foundation for the future of WaterFire Providence by facilitating the production of its signature events and drawing its footprint from across the city into a single location. The WaterFire Arts Center expands WaterFire Providence’s abilities beyond the artistic installation by also creating an artistic venue, an education center, and a repository of creative placemaking information that will be accessible to people across the globe and particularly to the residents of the Valley neighborhood.
Building our Future: The Story of the WaterFire Arts Center is supported by TRAC Builders Inc., a Valley neighborhood located general contracting and construction management firm. TRAC Builders is overseeing the project and shepherding it to completion. TRAC builders is committed to the community they serve, and that mission combined with a twenty year history in the industry have made them excellent partners in making The WaterFire Arts Center a reality. Now they, and Rhode Islanders, will have the opportunity to learn more about our nonprofit and, ultimately, visit one of the most unique art centers in the country.”
