Sean was born in Washington, DC., and graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, Bethesda, MD.
Sean received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Providence College, with a major in Economics, and was a Dr. Martin Luther King Scholar. He received a Law Degree from The Columbus School of Law/Catholic University in Washington, DC. He has received many honors, such as academic scholarships, and being named to “Who’s Who Among American Law Students” and “Outstanding Young Men of America”. He has established a strong legal foundation, having practiced law, and clerked for judges at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and Superior Court.
Sean has extensive experience in the sports and entertainment industry. After working with The BIG EAST Conference, Sean joined Bob Woolf Associates, a Boston-based Sports, and Entertainment Agency. Through the years, Sean has worked with various agencies that represented athletes and entertainers such as Larry Bird, Scott Burrell, LaPhonso Ellis, Doug Flutie, Tom Glavine, Rocket Ismail, Donovan McNabb, New Kids on the Block, Robert Parish, Dickey Simpkins, Otis Thorpe, Dwyane Wade, and many more. Sean has appeared on Black Entertainment Television (BET) featuring the Nation’s Top African-American Sports Lawyers/Agents.
Professionally, Sean has worked in various positions involving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Economic Development; Education; Law; Local Government; Workforce Development; and Youth Development. Also, he is a Professor at Providence College in the Undergraduate School (Marketing; and Western Civilization) and Graduate School (MBA; and Higher Education).
Sean is a RI Community Leader and serves on other boards such as NAACP Providence; Mae Organization for the Homeless; Providence Sports and Leadership; RI Black Business Association (RIBBA); and Trinity Rep. Additionally, he is with Leadership RI (Sigma II class); and RIBBA Emerging Leaders (Steering Committee).
