Allow the Russell Morin Catering & Events team to treat your guests to an unforgettable evening in your home. The night will include passed champagne, a selection of hors d’oeuvres on a stationary display, a seasonal 3-course meal, beer, and wine. Tickets (2) to “The Prince of Providence” at Trinity Rep

Trinity Rep Artistic Director Curt Columbus has personally donated two premium tickets to the theater’s production of “The Prince of Providence,” the theater’s hot new show about one of the most Shakespearean figures in all of Rhode Island’s political history — Buddy Cianci. The tickets are, in Curt’s words, ‘dead center of the fourth row, best seats in the house’ and available only for the performance at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 26.

Glass blowing experience

Learn how to make glass! You and a friend will learn how to make drinking glasses at Gather Glass Blowing Studio located at 521 Atwells Avenue in Providence.  Kids as young as 8 years old can participate. Class participants will pick their glass colors, roll molten glass into their glass color, melt their glass color, blow their glass bubble, shape and open their glass with traditional glass blowing tools. Classes are typically offered 6 days a week.  Class will run approximately 30-60 minutes.

Collage… And a Lesson

The Collage art work up for auction entitled MIDSUMMER DREAMS/FADING was created this past summer as a series exploring the nature of summer dreams .

The work includes inks and colored collage papers. The entire work is set off by a very bold gold frame capturing the glow of those summer days.

The work was created by Providence based artist and colorist MICHAEL WALCZAK.

MICHAEL WALCZAK is a visual artist working primarily in ink and paper. His love of color, texture, pattern, and line are present in many collections of his abstract and narrative art. His work ranges in size from 10×10 inches to 4×6 feet.
