Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Programs present Shakespeare at WaterFire from 6:00pm – 10:00pm on Steeple Street
The Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Programs presents scenes from two of Shakespeare’s wittiest comedies, Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Flordelino Lagundino (’15) and Twelfth Night or What You Will, directed by Dan Rogers (’15).

Full of hilarity and compassion, Much Ado About Nothing follows the epic journey of human transformation, the power of understanding, and the ultimate battle for true love.   Just home from war, young nobleman Claudio sweeps lovely Hero off her feet and proposes marriage.  As the young lover’s relationship blossoms, a “merry war” of wits is sparked between fellow soldier, Benedick and Beatrice.  Just when happily ever after seems within reach for these two couples, the tale takes a twisted turn of fate.

Tim Blankenship

Interactive Media Manager at WaterFire Providence
I've worked at WaterFire since 2003. For the first 9 years of my career here I worked in the Production Shop learning all of the details that go into the physical production of the event. I have recently transitioned to role of managing WaterFire's social media and web presence. I find it very rewarding working to increase engagement with our supporters both locally and globally.
