Nitto Avecia, an industry leader in the development and manufacture of innovative oligonucleotide therapeutics, is excited to sponsor the first WaterFire Event of 2014. Nitto Avecia is headquartered in Milford, Massachusetts, and we look for opportunities to support local organizations and charities whenever possible. With the TIDES conference located in Providence this year we were happy to sponsor WaterFire, as we believe this event will benefit the City of Providence and be enjoyed by our friends and clients at the conference.

Event Schedule:

Sunset Time: 7:58pm
The fires will be lit shortly sunset and will be kept lit until 11:00pm

The evening’s music program is now available!

Basin Fire WaterFire installations are a smaller version of the event; lighting up the circle of twenty-two braziers in the Waterplace Park Basin and the five braziers leading up to the Providence Place mall.

Fire dancer Benjamin Reynolds will be skillfully spinning fire during several performance throughout the evening.

I've worked at WaterFire Providence since 2003. For the first 9 years of my career, I worked in the Production Shop learning all of the details that go into the physical production of the event. In 2012 transitioned to the role of managing WaterFire's social media and web presence. I now head up WaterFire Providence's digital projects including, web, social, databases, and our physical IT infrastructure.
