How much does it cost to attend?
We ask everyone to make a donation to the Ambassador stations marked by the column of illuminated blue balloons and receive a blue glow necklace.
Add your light to the night…Visit one of our Luminaria Stations and make a $5 donation in exchange for lighting your own luminaria candle lantern and writing out a dediction card with your light. Starry, Starry Night…Visit our star field in Memorial Park; wish upon a star and hang overhead, also light two luminaria candle lanterns in exchange for a $20 donation.

What are the dates?
Here is the current season. Check back frequently for additions.
Where can I find the dates for next season?
WaterFire usually occurs between May and October. The dates for the next season will be released in either March or April.
What about weather and cancellations?

How do I schedule a Gondola reservation?
Although we work closely with La Gondola, they are a separate company. You may find out more about La Gondola at gondolari.com.
Is WaterFire run by the City or State?
Neither, WaterFire is an independent non-profit arts organization and we depend on your donations and support.
Is WaterFire accessible for those in wheelchairs?
Yes, most of the park is accessible, but there are cobbles stones on many of the paths. WaterFire has recently added two access boats for use by those in wheelchairs to have a close-up experience at WaterFire. The
How much does it cost to hold a WaterFire event?
WaterFire operates all year round, with many costs. Among those are labor, music rights, insurance, transportation, brazier upkeep, boats, docks, programs, building materials, firewood, performers, audio equipment, police, and other expenses. Our annual budget is approximately 1.8 million dollars.
How much are tickets to WaterFire?

Is WaterFire produced entirely by volunteers?
Although volunteers are an essential part of each WaterFire event, WaterFire does have a dedicated full-time year-round staff that work hard to create the event.
Is there a WaterFire every weekend?
No. Sadly we cannot afford to showcase WaterFire every weekend. Our dates are largely determined by the extent of our support. Please donate now to keep the fires burning.

There are many ways you can get involved with WaterFire by donating or volunteering. WaterFire is always looking for volunteers. Our volunteers do everything from greeting guests, to set up and break down of our signiture events, to feeding the fires.
